  • Who need to install smog guns?

  • The Hon'ble Supreme Court vide order dated 13.01.2020 mandated use of anti-smog guns in all construction projects in Delhi-NCR having built-up area more than 20,000 sq. meters which mandatorily require environmental clearance.

  • How many anti-smog guns (ASG) are to be installed at the construction sites?

  • Suggested number of ASG to be installed as per built-up area are:

  • Who needs to register in portal?

  • All construction sites having plot area equal to or more than 500 square metres are to be registered over the DPCC’s dust control self assessment web portal through proponent registration.

  • What to do when plot area is less than 500 square metres?

  • All the projects with plot area less than 500 square metres are required to follow dust pollution control guidelines but they are not required to register themselves at this portal.

  • Who will install sensors for PM10.0 and PM2.5?

  • All the construction projects with plot area equal to or more than 500 square metres are to install the sensors for PM10.0 and PM2.5 monitoring.

  • Who will install video-fencing?

  • All the construction projects with plot area equal to or more than 500 square metres are to install the video fencing for real-time monitoring by DPCC.

  • What will be the frequency of submission of Self-Audit Assessment Sheet?

  • After registration at the web portal, the projects are required to submit Self-Audit Assessment Sheet at a frequency of 15 days.

  • How to install Air Quality Monitoring Sensor?

  • How to connect video camera for video fencing?

  • Project Proponents/Site In-Charge should use video fencing with remote connectivity of the project so that their complete project area should be clearly visible. You have to submit URL of the live recording of cameras in “Fill Camera Detail” option provided in login of side menu in Project Proponents/Site In-Charge.
